I spend a ton of time alone. I do have friends but as a single early 30’s person with my own place, I am alone a bunch. I’m definitely introverted but would like to meet new people. But everywhere I go it seems like folks are hanging out in groups.

Are there specific places you know in NYC where people come to hang out alone and meet new folks? I go to a bunch of meetups - they seem to be the best place to meet new people, but they tend to be the same kinds of people.

Asking genuinely as an introvert who wants to meet new folks and is a bit intimidated approaching groups. I also just love talking to people one-on-one. I’ve always felt at ease there. Groups are a different story.
