NYC in early January?
Post Body

hi everyone, i’m planning on a quick 2-3 day trip and I’m stuck between NYC and Florida. been leaning towards NYC but heard it’s pretty “eh” during January there, especially cause of the cold. I was planning on going on the first week of the month around Jan 4-7, would people still be in the holiday spirit by then? are the tourists mostly gone and would it be pretty much a “”ghost town”” by that time? Will there still be any fun activities to do? Not looking for any crazy activities since I’m only there for a few days, food and the usual “go-to’s” are probably all we’d be hitting.

Edit: called it a ghost town bc I’ve heard several new yorkers describe it as that during early months!
