We’ve tried the Jefferson Market Library and Hudson Library, but they’re not conducive for my student for one reason or another (e.g., too hot, can’t talk too loud, etc). Hudson Library’s also a bit of a walk from her building—I have to pick her up and drop her off after each session, so I’d rather somewhere close where we don’t waste too much time in each session just getting to the place. My student suggested doing sessions at a cafe instead, but I rlly wanna avoid having to take money out of my pay just to stay somewhere, which is why I wanted to stick to a library, tho most nearby libraries can only be accessed with an NYU ID. I saw that The New School has a library on 55 W 13th that might be a good option, but idk if non-students are allowed to enter.
Any suggestions for other decent places to hold tutoring sessions in? Cafe/resto recs are welcome if I don’t have to spend more than 15 bucks on the cheapest item ,,,,
