Seafood boil but dairy free??

Doesn’t anyone know of any restaurants that do seafood boils that don’t use butter? My friend is allergic to dairy but loves seafood.

I can see the butter staying on the outside. In addition, crawfish meat is pretty rich (to me, anyhow) if the crawfish have a lot of fat. I don't want butter on top of that.
And your fry recipe sounds delicious.
