Will be in NOLA for Jazz Fest in a couple of weeks and have a reservation for Restaurant August. My wife and I love fine dining experiences (Providence, Sushi Noz, Mujo, etc.) and are looking for a top spot in Nola. Understanding that Michelin isn’t there, I heard August is a great spot but have heard it has gone down hill. Is this accurate?
My wife use to live in Nola for seven years up until the early 2010s but wasn’t into fine fining then. If not August, what is the best spot to visit if budget isn’t a concern? We’re open to all cuisines.
Thanks!
