I was on spiro and estrogen for 2 years when prescribed progesterone. Every night, exactly 20 minutes after taking the progesterone orally, my body would lose function, I went into paralysis of all limbs, I would have extreme night twitching, sleep apnea, it was really bad. I was in denial it was the progesterone so I continued like this for months. The only medical change was the progesterone. I was also on Venlafaxine for a number of years coinciding. In research, I couldn’t find a correlation between side effects of each other, and the more concerning, Drs couldn’t figure out why this was happening. Immediately after stopping the progesterone Everything stopped. Has anyone else had this or similar happen? Thanks
