Injections becoming more painful?

I’ve been doing weekly injections for about 6 months now with no difficulty. As of two weeks ago however, they suddenly become very painful to do, to the point that I can’t insert the needle too deeply in and a little bit of Estradiol seeps out every time before I put a bandaid on it. Is there any idea why this suddenly became an issue, or how I can fix it?
