Why are people on this sub surprised that people all around the world have a negative opinion of the Middle East?
Post Body

People here on this sub think you should die for being gay, half of it supports some kind of terrorist organization, there is a modern kind of slavery in the gulf and actual slavery in some countries like Libya.

Women are extremely opressed in all MENA countries when compared to the world average maybe only second to South Asia and parts of Africa.

Many people here think that you should be killed for leaving Islam as another example.

And the worst part of all of this is that this sub is way more liberal/open minded than most of the middle east.

And then people here cry about Islamophobia and bad stereotypes about the Middle East.

WHY ARE YOU GUYS EVEN SO MAD THAT PEOPLE DISLIKE THIS BULLSHIT?
