Do you think early islamic history was revolutionary or reformist?
Post Body
In the west typically political and societal changes are classified into reformist vs revolutionary e.g British Parliamentry reform vs the French Revolution, how would you classify early islamic history?
From the first revelation in the Cave of Hira, the prosecution at Mecca, the Hijra to Medina, and the subsequent war and eventual victory over the pagans, Rashidun and the subsequent Fitnas that led to the Ummayads, how would you scale it, revolution or reformation?
