- Background story *
Me (F29) and my boyfriend (M31) have been together for a few years now.
For the past two years our sex life has sucked, it’s gotten to the point that whenever we discuss it we just argue. He tells me my libido is too high, and that there’s nothing wrong with his. In an ideal world I would like sex 3/4 times a week, it makes me feel closer to him, desired, less stressed and more loved. He however can go weeks without sex, he doesn’t seem to mind. I have previously caught him watching porn but I am 99% confident he’s not watching it now.
It never used to be like this, in a one off conversation a fair few months ago we discussed reasons and I said is because my body has changed and I’ve put on weight and he after lots of pestering said it was a small part but not the main part. I however feel like this is a big reason, pregnancy meant I’ve gained a fair bit of weight and along with the medication I need to take for breathing difficulties my body is definitely curvy.
Every time I bring up why we don’t have sex it’s a different reason each time. Some of the reasons he’s given below
1) He’s stressed 2) We have argued to much that day to have it
I however tested out the above reasons by instead of asking or initiating sex gave him a blow job (3 days in a row) he finished and was happy with that, he had been both stressed and we had also argued on at least one of the days I gave him head.
I guess my question is, is he just not into me anymore? I need somebody to tell me straight instead of worrying about hurting my feelings as I do believe if it’s something I can change to make our sex life better I’ll do it, even if it means losing weight or exploring different options. Has anybody else experienced this?
