Every weekday my wife and I get home from work and are always in different moods about what we want to do
I work a desk job all day full of math, spreadsheets, and mind-numbing number crunching. She does set design, so basically lots of sawing, nailing, painting, and pretty much nonstop use of other various power tools, along with lots of lifting and climbing up and down ladders.
When we both get home we’re both exhausted… but different kinds of exhausted. I’m mentally tired and she’s physically tired.
I’m ready to move for the first time of the day.. go for a walk, workout, go do some errands or something… anything that doesn't involve a screen. Obviously she's the opposite… she wants to melt into the couch, but shes down to craft, or play games, or do anything creative. I'm sure our respective plans both sound awful to each other lol
Where's the middle ground???
