Ever have a swollen vein ON the testicle?

My right testicle gets what feels like a vein popping out on it when I’ve sat a while or been physically active. When I am lying down for a while it goes away and I’m back to a smooth testicle. Can varicocele be on the testicle and not always above it?

I’ve read about pelvic tilt/tight hip flexors contributing and I sit 9 hours a day for work. When I’m laying down or even standing without much physical activity the vein does not pop out at all.

Could it be swollen gubernacular vein?

I have an appointment with my general practitioner on 9/22 but I have bad anxiety and my mind went straight to testicular cancer and I’ve been having panic attacks ever since discovering this.
