Currently, I'm single and I want to start asking guys out instead of waiting for them to ask me out. From my time with online dating, I've had better experiences with men older than me. For context, I just turned 24. When I used dating apps, I saw that more often than not men 30 wanted a long-term relationship, cared less about me being plus-size, wanted to start a family, were better conversationalists, knew what they wanted, etc. However, I want to move away from dating apps and try to find someone in real life. I'm wondering how I can show that I'm being serious when asking out an older guy in public. I don't want to make him feel weird or anything like that. How do I go about this? Is it okay to go up to one at Walmart and ask him out? Thank you for any advice!
