Is it unsafe to always edge my boyfriend?

My bf is the sweetest person ever but has issues with lasting in bed, he's always been very quick to orgasm and I feel like maybe he's just more sensitive than other guys. As a result most of the sex we have is basically us going really slowly and edging him for as long as we can. Does this have any consequences?
