Not anything like red or irritated, like for instance im almost splotchy with some parts almost looking as if I were a darker skin color. I'm very white,but all the Italian in me goes to tanning and I bronze really well so I don't know if it's due to certain pigments or how I've used mine. I'm not gonna provide any pics, sorry not sorry.just ask me to explain more if needed
