In a relationship, where's the line for you between "they accepted me for who I am" and "they didn't inspire me to be a better person?"
Post Body
I hear stuff like "I married my wife because she accepted me for who I am" but also "I was in a shit place and she didn't inspire me to be a better person." where's the line between the two?
I think it's ironically being accepted for who we are that wants us to become better people, but why then does it backfire sometimes and makes you feel like the other person puts up with your shit and is not inspiring you?
