Men in a LDR, how often do you get to see your S/O?

My S/O and I live roughly an hour and 15 minutes apart, and we get to see each other maybe once a month if I'm lucky. How often do you make the effort to go see them, and how far is the distance? Do you feel like you could attempt more?
