Married men. How did you know it was time to propose?

I just turned 24, and i've been living with my girlfriend since june 1st, and we've been together for just over 6 months now. Everything is going great. I love her, and i love the fact that we live together. Recently, she's started talking about getting married, and i'm sorta freaked out. Not because i think she's crazy, but just because i'm scared of it a little myself, and am seriously considering asking her.
Any advice?
