Met a guy 3 months ago who worked crazy IB hours. I was fine with it, but my friends made me feel like I should want more. He was already putting in effort—texting daily, seeing me his day off, apologizing for being busy—but I got in my head and started being dry over text. When we finally talked, I said I was upset I he didn’t reach out a lot, and then got scared and made it seem like I didn’t care if we were serious or casual, even though I actually liked him a lot. I think I hurt him, and a few days later, he cut things off, saying he wasn’t in a position for anything. I apologized, but he ghosted me and updated his Hinge soon after. Is he over me, or was he just hurt? Should I reach out one again to apologize or take the L and move on?

Asking here bc I feel like I’m really upset and my friends are just on a different page than me.
