Went to my brother’s wedding recently and realized that I’ve completely lost the plot on how flirting with a guy actually works. I was definitely feeling vibes with a friend of my brother’s, but after trying my best to show some interest (being a bit touchy, plenty of eye contact, asking him a lot about his life, etc.), I was worried about coming on too strong or maybe overstepping a boundary (I have no idea if he was in a relationship).
The evening ended up passing with nothing really happening between us, but I find myself wishing that I had tried to be a little more forward or ask if he had a partner. I’ve been out of the dating world for so long that I’ve low-key forgotten how to do that, or what the average guy likes when it comes to flirting. Also I’m seeing this guy again in like 4 months for a second wedding so I definitely wouldn’t mind some tips ðŸ«
