What advice would you give to someone who has never dated?

I'm 26 years old and I'm an introvert with no friends and no self-esteem, I'm trying to improve this by going to therapy.
My younger brothers already introduce someone to my parents and this puts an absurd amount of pressure on me.
Time passes and I feel worse for it.
I would like advice from people who are/were in a relationship to give me advice and ask about.
I know that the person isn't going to fall from the sky and I have to act but it's all a bit boring for me.
