I've [24F] recently had a small conflict with my boyfriend [33M] about me not wearing make-up. He's not the type of guy who would demand it or something, it was just a suggestion out of his part but I told him I don't like make-up and he responded in a very calm tone "but why? I mean all girls wear make-up, it ain't something difficult". For context, he's seen me with make-up just once (it was very light one, I don't even know how to apply more complex products) and he said that (and still says) "you're amazingly beautiful without it but with just a little bit of it you're gorgeous. Not like other girls who change their whole face with it because they're not good-looking. I want you to wear the lightest make-up, you don't need any more than that".
I as I already mentioned am a person who doesn't like make-up and barely even know how to apply it (I've used make-up less than 10 times in my life). What's the reasoning behind guys liking make-up? I mean if you already find your girl beautiful why insist on her to wear it?
