Just recently I lost my bestfriend. She was someone I never imagined living life without. We talked daily on the phone, most of the time she would do the talking but I enjoyed hearing the ramblings of her life. The ups and downs the over dramatic problems all of it just made me happy to be a part of it. I had a party at my house just last week. Over the fire pit while everyone else was busy I was talking to her and I think at that moment I realized I liked her. The problem was she doesn’t like me back. I never planned on telling her at least not yet. After she was leaving she kept bugging me asking what was on my mind and I declined to tell her. I was drunk and didn’t want to admit something like that while I couldn’t even speak straight. Well that next night me and her talked on FaceTime and she kept asking me and I decided to tell her. After that things got weird a bit awkward and later that next day she just stopped talking at all to me. It’s been a week and I haven’t seen or heard from her. I’m kind of just numb over the whole thing at this point. I didn’t want to lose her she was one of my closest people I cared about. But after how this played out I don’t know how we can be friends like that again. How do you deal with losing someone so close to you?
