I am 28M and have my life in order. I have a good high income stable Job, my own Apartment, physically active (Work Out 5x a Week & 2x Each Day), have hobbies and a Cat. I don't really have any friends or social life for that matter and also no girlfriend/fiance/wife. Been single for 6 Years and last time I had a Date was in May this year. I am the only one from my siblings and my colleagues that is single and alone.
Everyone keeps asking me and its getting on my nerves: "Why don't you have a girlfriend?" or "Why don't you get yourself a woman?" They ask as if it is so easy; I always respond with: "Look, I would love a woman in my life. And believe me, I have tried... a lot. But what am I supposed to do? Or what can I do? If you go approach someone you find attractive, but they don't find you attractive and or don't want to talk to you. You can't force them to like you back." My work colleague said:"Bro, you are young, good looking, successful and have your life in order. Why wouldn't a woman want you?"
They still think it is pre-covid where life was simpler. And I am getting annoyed because although I wish and want that too, but what do you want me to do. There’s nothing I can do.
So what should I say next time someone asks that stupid question?
Edit: I’m not complaining about not having a relationship. Never was, I’m simple saying I’m fed up of hearing it. Never wanted any help to fix this.
