Around 30, making new friends
If you have a long time wife/girlfriend, busy job and are lucky enough to have a house in suburbia how the f*ck do you many any new friends and connect with similar people?
Everyone is so busy and wrapped up on sorting their own lives out, I don't see any way to make friends. Most blokes I do talk to or meet in daily life or at work are perfectly nice (I could be friends with them).
Does this make any sense? Like I was literally thinking today, I would go round and help someone do DIY, or cook a meal or whatever just to make a new friend, but I don't think there is a forum to do that as a 30 year old guy who isn't into religion or team sports
