What hair products are good for men hair styling?

My bf [34M] has hair that is thinner on top, which makes it extremely difficult to style, especially when there's high wind. Do you have any recommendations on hair products that will help keep it styled even with high winds outside? He’s a photographer so he wants something that’ll keep it styled in the elements outdoors.
