I’m 28M and was dealt mostly a bad hand in life. I’ve been getting rejected by women since I was 13. You’d think I’d be used to it by now, but you see I was never taught how to deal with emotions. My parents are under achievers and never really went far in life. If anything I was always taught that failure is unacceptable. So if I fail and or get rejected, that means I’m useless and good for nothing. I’m doing certain things now to build self confidence such as improving diet, going to the gym regularly, going to therapy. But still getting rejected by women constantly hurts. Nowadays I can’t even look at a woman without experiencing some type of fear inside my body. So how do I reframe my mentality to not let it destroy my confidence?
