Even though I do not have a girlfriend at the moment, one of the reasons that I am highly attracted to people with long hair is that I find it so comforting and soothing whenever their hair touches my skin and I use their long hair as a blanket as in the case of covering your face or wrapping your head, shoulders, and/or arms in their hair. The feeling of a romantic partner's long hair touching my skin or using my partner's long hair as a blanket gives me a strong sense of being protected by them, belonging, intimacy, warmth, and having a strong emotional connection with them. I especially have these feelings whenever a person's long hair has a pleasant aroma from perfumes. Do any of you men who have wives or girlfriends who have long hair have these similar feelings that I have towards people with long hair?
