How would you explain why I got to act more like myself during dates as I got older?
Post Body

I am 26 male. Have been going on dates from the start of my 20s. At this point I feel like I am at a dead end because how unsuccessful I am at finding love but before I quit completely I want to talk about what I have observed - the older I have gotten the more I am ME during dates. What I mean is when I was younger I used to try to be someone else someone who has a higher chance of being liked. Now I have dropped a lot of my inhibitions and I care less what I say. I still try to be polite yet I sometimes say things I believe are true despite knowing that there is a chance that the person opposite me might not like them. Have any of you experienced this?
