How many guys in their 30s and up are losing or have lost the hair on the lower part of your legs?

I'm 44, I've worn boots for years for work (military) and there is a line where the hair on my legs has essentially disappeared. It is right where the top of my boots is. Who else deals with this? Do any of you guys have a solution?
