Update: very interesting responses that have me considering why I’m on so many social media platforms and the potential detriment to my mental health. Also, was not expecting so much discourse about how Reddit is social media so I will bow out gracefully. I’m up late to meet a deadline and getting loopy so apologies for any silly replies I may make before I head to bed. 😆
I only have Reddit mostly for shitposting and advice/help with things. I gave up Instagram because it was consistently making me feel like less of a man and overly unsuccessful. I gave up twitter because my god the combined IQ on that app is room temperature. And although I still am kinda depressed I don’t feel nearly as shitty because I’m not surrounded my posts of people on yachts eating lobster. I’m fine eating at Outback Steakhouse.
