What kind of doctor should I see for a growth in the tip of my tongue?

I saw a maxillofacial surgeon in Mexico and he removed a growth in the tip of my tongue but it grew back. Now I live in the States and a Maxillofacial would fall into the dental insurance (I think) which I don’t have. So I was wondering if another doctor like an otorhinolaryngologist would do this kind of surgery, is made in the doctors clinic with a scalpel and it requires one tiny stitch.
