I have a Civic 2004. When I am driving on a street and I come to a stop sign, the moment I start pressing the brake I hear and clicking sound which gets louder the closer I get to stopping completely. This is not the first time this happens. One or two years ago (bad memory) the same was happening and my mechanic replaced the front disks and brake pads. He wasn't able to diagnose the car but that fixed the problem. The problem has started again, and if it is like last time, the clack, clack, clack sound will become worse and worse over time. I'm just curious if anyone knows why may be the root cause of this. Again, my memory is so, so bad, and I'm tempted to think this is actually the 3rd time this happens.
