Doing some shade mechanic work for somebody, here’s the story: Installed a new alternator for a couple, they didn’t want any diag just said hey can you throw this in, I installed no problem. They didn’t have a battery at the time so I wasn’t able to witness the car starting after. They just called me this week and were telling me how it dies at idle and only “puts out 11v” when they measured it with a battery tester at the terminals on the battery. The car drives fine above probably 5 mph but stalls after idling for a little while.

Im planning on dropping by today to first measure the voltage off the alternator itself and then I guess just start checking grounds? I hate you your guys’ next steps be?
