Can I use my warranty to replace a part known to go bad before it goes bad?
Post Body

So I recently bought a 2014 Ford Taurus automatic tranny 3.5l v6 na with 96k on it, and I know the water pump tends to shit the bed at around 100k miles.

My question is as above can I use my 2y full coverage warranty to replace the part now or do I have to wait till it dies on me.

I have an understanding that this is a pricey fix because of location and repair type and I would really like to get it taken care sooner rather than later but don't really have the funds for that kind of fix
