Vehicle rocks side to side easily

I bought a used 2005 gmc sierra a month ago or so and since I’ve got it I’ve noticed it s a rough ride, cab rocks all over the place with every bump in the road. When it’s parked it’s very easy to walk up to it and rock it a lot side to side by hand like it’s so wobbly, I’m thinking shocks and struts maybe but i thought I’d ask before I start throwing money at it for parts?
