Post Body

I just recently got my transmission fluid changed on my Honda Civic and it was $169 before tax. My Honda Odyssey also is due for a transmission fluid change and I was quoted $340 from the same dealer. I understand the Odyssey is bigger, but is it really that much of a price difference? Seems a little unreasonable.

I thought it would be a good idea to bring it to the dealer to have Honda OEM fluid put into it but Iā€™m considering bringing it to a local mechanic now to see if there is a lower price. Would it be an issue not to use Honda OEM trans fluid ?
