We have 2016 and 2017 Honda civics and the little light for my engine air filter came on.
I wanted to buy a new one and DIY and there are a couple of options online that look similar but cost about $10 difference.
What is the actual difference? Is there a difference? Both of them says it'll fit our cars
This one is $28 https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c/wix/wix-panel-air-filter/wix0/wa10416/v/a/141228/automotive-car-2017-honda-civic
There's also more expensive options from a brand called K&N Engineering $65 https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c/k-n-engineering/k-n-engineering-panel-air-filter/kan0/335045/v/a/137958/automotive-car-2016-honda-civic?q=Engine air filter&pos=3
Is the high end brand really worth over 2X the money? Similar question for cabin air filters.
