The car insurance company sent me to a body shop to get an estimate for electrical diagnosis and repair (read on)
Post Body

I was in a fender bender. The liable insurance co. called me with a shop they determined I would take my car for an estimate on repairs. I have a slight dent on the back bumper. Also, the right and left turn signal lights get stuck when turned on, occasionally. By stuck I mean they don't blink, they just stay on when switched on, so I manually turn them on and off to avoid confusing drivers behind me. Before I agreed to taking my car there I asked the insurance company rep if the body shop will also solve my electrical issue and he said yes. But I just called the shop (after having already taken the car there and gotten an estimate of $542 for the back bumper and electrical repair) the lady I spoke to said they do not do electrical repair, only body. When the guy inspected my car all he did was take pictures of the outside, but did not look into the electrical problem, even though I mentioned it to him. He said he would just "add it to the estimate". The only reference to the electrical issues on the estimate is "R&I ... LT (& RT) Tail lamp assy" I'll put a pic of the estimate in a link below. What should I do? Should I ask the insurance co. if I can take my car to an electrical repair shop? Thank you
