I know this probably sounds like a horrible idea. Going from Colorado Springs to Orem. Having to cross the Rockies. I believe we did not overfill the trailer- we have the appropriate allotted weight as advised by UHaul. It drives fine around town, up and down the hills and whatnot of Colorado Springs, as the town is quite hilly and semi-mountainous itself… Am I going to be able to make it safely or have any issues considering crossing mountain ranges with such a hefty trailer?
There is a huge snow storm going on right now that I am going to have to trek… we are going to try and wait until it dies down… but we have a deadline of leaving tomorrow… it will likely be somewhat treacherous in some ways regardless whether we like it or not.. Should we stop by UHaul and get chains on the trailer tires for precaution? I have killer snow tires on the Subaru… just worried for the trailer…
Any advice or advisement/experience would be greatly appreciated.
