I just moved into a newly built ADU in LA county, first one to live here. The address is the same as the front house’s address but just has a “1/2” after the house number. Google maps, Amazon, and a bunch of other websites don’t recognize the building as a real address but it has a meter and everything. I am able to get renters insurance on it and start all my services— water, gas, electricity etc.

How do I get other websites to accept my new address? I tried adding a missing place on google but that doesn’t work because there’s no option for “house” only “housing complex”, “housing development” or “housing society”. I also tried registering it from scratch but it says my house number isn’t valid. Any suggestions? I’m having such a hard time getting packages delivered and verifying my address on a lot of websites
