It’s all connected (Greater Los Angeles) people not from Los Angeles are never going to realise Anaheim isn’t actually considered in L.A. It doesn’t matter In the real world, a continuous urban area is what defines what a metropolitan is, it has nothing to do with invisible lines. With that established, Los Angeles is the principal city of SoCal and the entire region is literally a connected extension of LA, all 24 million inhabitants; it is the largest metropolitan in North America and probably the world.

I can walk a few steps from the farthest point in orange county and be in L.A County?
