Good place to live in LA near the valley area?

Post Body

My new work will be in Encino LA. I currently reside in Gardena, but I am planning to move near Encino, even though it is hybrid work, I want to find a place within 15-20 miles from Encino.

I am not looking at the North Side tbh, my relatives live in Northridge and the amount of heat and how hot it is... just notorious.

Here in Gardena I can live the whole year without air conditioner. This may not be the case near Encino but I want to live somewhere that is not TOO hot and somewhere I don't have to blast my AC all day.

What are some good neighborhoods near Encino that is not too hot and not too expensive?

Currently looking at places like Culver City, Brentwood, Tarzana, Lake Balboa, etc.

Anything helps!
