Iāve been to LA about 5/6 times and have driven on some of the mountain roads - Mullholland Drive, Malibu Canyon Road - and I do not like heights and these roads are fairly terrifying. Not quite passing out but definitely the most afraid Iāve been when driving.
But I rarely see anything about these roads being scary or difficult to drive? I did a short search on here and couldnāt find anything other than posts about the āscenicā drives and how beautiful they are (which the views are incredible).
I canāt be the only one who doesnāt like these roads? I guess if I drove on them every day Iād get used to them - Iām guessing that happens to most locals.
Also is there any way from Calabasas to Malibu without going through / on the sides of the mountain?
I like driving on the PCH and the road to Malibu / Pepperdine, etc doesnāt bother me at all.
tl;dr Some CA roads terrify me but donāt seem to bother others?
