Hi everyone. Visiting L.A for the first time with the wife in over well a decade and wasn't sure if there any must see sites, sceneries and beaches and other things we can do in the free time we have between a family get together we're attending. We'll be here this Thu and leave this Sunday and staying in the 90036 zip code area (not sure if that's considered central L.A?)

We'd like to hit up a night club or two and maybe any live music lounges that play hip hop and reggae would be cool. Any great not to miss cheap eats in the area we're staying that you all might recommend would be great as well.

I've been hitting the search bar but L.A might be a country as well and I'm not sure if most of the things I'm seeing are in our vicinity at all. We don't mind driving up to 30 mins out (maybe more for a great beach) since I've heard traffic isn't for the faint of heart out there. I'll make sure to reciprocate the same for anyone vising Vegas in the future :)
