currently living near USC but I graduate soon and will be staying here for a year afterwards, i’d like to live somewhere around wilshire/vermont station so i can be closer to work. around usc, you have to start looking for an apartment for august in like february and then do pre-leasing which i’m not sure is how everywhere else does it lol. i was wondering at what time would be good to start looking for a new apartment to start living in aug 2025? i know this is way in advance but i’m pretty anxious about it bc my past apartment hunting experiences have been awful.

also, all my friends are graduating and those that aren’t want to live right by campus, so any ideas on how to find a roommate? can’t afford a place all to myself lol, looking to do like a 2bed1bath situation or something.

if anyone has recs of buildings to look at would love to hear those too :)
