Is $1500 splitting a 2bed in a “luxury” bldg normal?

I’m this is probably asked so much here but still worth a shot. Both places I’m looking at are new construction “luxury” buildings which kinda sketches me out ngl. One is in miracle mile, the other is in Palms/Culver. Are they worth considering?
Edit: should’ve clarified it’s 1500 per person whoops! Asking bc I’m from SF and my friend is paying 1200 for her share of a 3 bed 1 bath so I’m just trying to get a read on what it’s like down here
