Hello, I booked a cheap, quick last minute flight from SFO to LAX just to get my mind off things. I’ll arrive at 4pm and depart the next day at around 10am, both at LAX. I have a couple questions.

Most importantly, is there anything that a 20 year old (not 21) could do throughout the night while waiting for their flight the following morning? Preferably near LAX? Or would I just be better off coming back to the airport and nap until my flight?

Also, I’m wanting to take public transportation to NoHo after I arrive, and maybe spend some time near DTLA. How good is the public transportation, and how efficient would it be to take me from LAX to the valley and back within an afternoon? I’ve been in LA multiple times but I’ve always driven everywhere; I’ve never flown to LAX nor used public transportation here.
