My poor friend has tried every type of training under the sun to improve the behavior of her rescue Aussie that she’s had for around 4 years.

He is great around other dogs and people, but in her presence he gets extremely aggressive / protective and has now had multiple “bite incidents” stemming from that over-protectiveness.

She has sunk thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours into training and unfortunately he has not improved at all and having him just isn’t compatible with her life anymore.

She’s called around to a bunch of places in L.A. to find somewhere that will take him in (she would rather move to the middle of nowhere than take him anywhere he’ll be euthanized) but hasn’t had any luck especially with his history.

I told her I would ask on Reddit to see if anyone has recommendations, suggested places to call, etc? Any help would be hugely appreciated as this has been a super difficult process for her. Thanks <3
