I have got a new job in Hastings. My wife is working in Hammersmith, London. We are planning to move to some place which is feasible for both of us commute wise. Sevenoaks ( somewhere near to the train station) is one of the places we are considering. Can my fellow Redditors please shed some light on Sevenoaks or suggest some other places as well ?

Only cons of Sevenoaks I think is that her commute ( train tube ) would be somewhat around £550 per month

Some key facts: I have a car and I drive. My wife doesn’t drive. She uses trains/tubes/busses. She occasionally works night shifts as well. I want her commute to be as short and simple as possible and willing to drive upto 80 mins each side to &from my workplace
